Standing Seam Metal Roofing

Standing Seam is also known as hidden fastener steel roofing and has become increasingly popular for residential and commercial projects. Proper installation of these panels can mean a roof that will last a lifetime. We have installed standing seam roofs across Wisconsin, Iowa, and Illinois and have the experience needed to install an exceptional system.

What is Standing Seam Roofing?

Standing Seam roofing uses continuous panels that run from the apex ridge of the roof down to the eaves. The seams of these panels are connected by fasteners (.5” to 1.5” high) that sit above the level of the metal roofing. Due to their unique construction, the fasteners are concealed so you only see a continuous ridge from top to bottom.

Generally, 12-19 inches wide, our Standing Seam panels are made with 29 gauge steel. We work with local manufactures to offer you the highest quality panels at a low price.

Advantages of Standing Seam Roofing

Seam Height: Because the seams are raised off of the level of the roofing panel, moisture cannot penetrate this type of roofing, and thus cannot eat away at it, freeze it, or damage it over time.

Durability: The paneling steel is incredibly tough and resistant to many of the dangers of inclement weather. It WILL last for decades, but you should always keep an eye out for potentially hazardous overhanging limbs or particularly violent storm damage, and call us if there any issues.

“Cool Roofing”: The Environmental Protection Agency rates Standing Seam roofs as “cool roofs” because they can be painted any color on the light side of the spectrum that will prevent heat absorption. This - combined with their sleek, vertical design - offers a unique, alluring appearance that can be customized to your specifications.
